The Youth Home is located outside the SOS Children's Village at Sangoyah neighbourhood, in Matoto Commune, 500 metres away from transversal 4 (T4) on the East side. Adolescents receive not only education but also develop their potentials in order to help them grow into responsible citizens. Under the supervision of their leaders, SOS Youths manage their own domestic expenses. All SOS Youths do daily chores in a disciplined and regular manner.

Each adolescent takes care of his own laundry. Besides, weekly meeting are organised in such a way that adolescent problems are discussed. The real goal of this type of education is to prepare SOS Youths to integrate into society and live an independent life.
