Built in 1990 and situated  in a pleasant compound, the SOS Hermann Gmeiner Technical Senior Secondray School has excellent facilties and resources. Over 600 students including SOS youths and those from the community are taught subjects based on the national curriculum with an emphasis on technical and vocational areas. The programme is also enhanced with extra curricular and community activities

The school consists of 29 classrooms including a computer laboratory, five science labs, wood and metal workshops, technical drawing room, art and home economics sections and a guidance & counseling center. There is also a library and reading room as well as a canteen and a staff room.

In addition, over 100 students benefit from the post-secondary evennig SOS Further Education Programme, where they are taughts management, accounting or information technology.
