ADMISSION OF PERSONAL Fundraiser and National Sponsorship Responsible Profile and preferential conditions Superior Education in the areas of Marketing, Management, or similar areas. Age no superior 40 years Having at least three years of professional experience in the area of Marketing or Management (Preferential Condition). Experience in the preparation and management of projects; Excellent domain of the Portuguese language and good knowledge of English and French languages (spoken and written) Experience in the organization and follow up of events Having total availability to work out of the normal schedule Initiative spirit, strong dynamism and versatile in the intervention areas; Having good presentation and personal image, with polished posture as regards to the Public Relationships; Having enough self-confidence to establish relationships inter-personal; Good knowledge of computer science, particularly for texts/images treatment; database management, internet research and website marketing. Ability to adapt and work under pressure. Principal Responsabililities: Co-ordination of all fundraising and national sponsorship activities for the SOS Children’s Village Cape Verde. Responsible for promoting good relations between SOS – CV and the public, visitors or authorities. Any other duties related to national sponsorship, public relation, fundraising or projects planning may be assigned to him by the ND. After receiving, the Fundraiser and National Sponsorship Responsible (FR) must ensure new sponsors are greeted/welcomed with a letter or picture. At least twice a year the FR ensures that he reports to each sponsor on the development of his sponsored child / project. Each sponsor must receive a personal letter/drawing before Christmas. He must keep an accurate savings record of each child’s money gifts and inform the Chief Accountant and Sponsorship Coordinator with updated details. He keeps an up-to-date database of sponsors /partners & their addresses. The maintenance of all copies and documents within the National Coordination Office. Writing and typing letters and correspondence when required by the National Director. Responsible for establishing a plan and its management, for all the agreements and partnership established. Coordination of the fundraising project as well as SOS micro enterprises The applications should be delivered at the National Office, located in Achada S.
